If I Were a Finch in the Children’s Hospital…

I came across this little sound piece called IF on the WNYC Radiolab podcast. Australian sound artist Sherre DeLys takes us into the delightful world of Andrew, an imaginative boy at the Westmead Children’s Hospital, as he speculates on scuttlefish, crocodiles and problems with drawing. Like a lot of the work on Radiolab, the result is somewhere between music and speech – and short but extremely sweet.

You can hear more of Sherre DeLys’s work at Ubuweb.

Hey Emma, I don’t suppose you’d consider ‘white-listing’ bloglines for image display hmm?
(at least, I suppose bloglines has for one reason or another not been parsing the images lately, but in case it was you tweaking things to stop hotlinking, well, if you feel like allowing bloglines, that would be a nice thing; although it’s not important, per se.)

Sorry peacay – your comments keep getting delayed by being caught in the spam filter for some reason, can’t seem to fix it and currently getting tons of spam comments
I will add bloglines to the list, thanks for pointing it out – have been experimenting with whitelisting due to MySpace etc hotlinking starting to get out of hand, but don’t want to exclude anything proper – please let me know if it’s causing problems anywhere else
